Intermectin Pour-On Ivermectin 5% pour-on
Intermectin Pour-On is an antiparasitic product, which is highly effective as an endectocide against a large variety of parasites in cattle. Its active ingredient, ivermectin, is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic which acts by binding to the glutamate and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) regulated chloride channels of muscle and nerve cells in invertebrates, leading to hyperpolarisation of these cells and ultimately causing paralysis and death of the parasite.
Dosage
Administer 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight (which corresponds to the recommended dose of 0.5 mg ivermectin per kg bodyweight), to healthy, clean skin. The solution should be poured on the back of the animal in a thin stripe, which reaches from the withers to the tail. The period of time between two treatments (if necessary) should be at least 28 days.
